Disable "System Restore" for Windows Me and XP, and then restart your PC.
Press "F8" upon boot up.
Select "Safe mode with Networking"
For Broadband and network users, connect to internet and choose any of the available on-line scanners.
Repeat as necessary.
Scanning on different vendors is advised because each of them have different characteristic and cannot remove all variants on the infected PC.
